2010 Broll Mountain Vineyards Syrah

Deep and inky in color. Earthy nose of black currents and black cherries with a hint of raspberry. Spice tones of clove and a hint of coffee. Mouth of black cherries, plum and currents followed by soft tannins and tones of clove, pepper, coffee and toasted nuts.

2012 Chatom Cabernet Sauvignon

Aromas of plum, toasted chestnuts, sassafras, vanilla and white pepper lead to flavors of blackberries, olallieberries and stone fruit and layers of spices including clove, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg.  This wine has a long lingering finish with notes of leather and rich complex tannins.

2013 Four Winds Cellars Tempest

A seven varietal blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Sangiovese, this is a smooth, lush wine with rounded fruit and medium tannins. Rich aromas of cherry, ripe berries & anise seed are followed by flavors of red plum, and raspberries, with a wonderful herbaceous quality. This wine has a delicious medium bodied mouth feel and a lovely lingering finish.

2011 Hatcher Beckman Vineyard Zinfandel

Vanilla from the American Oak, and hints of caramel, along with aromas of violet and dried tobacco. Raspberries and cedar are clear. The medium body of this wine is easy to sip on. The finish is full body and clean.

2014 Mineral Wines Barbera

2015 Milliaire Winery Pinot Grigio

Welcome hints of citrus on the nose, light and crisp, with slender hints of refreshing grapefruit and a nice bright acidity. Pleasant and well balanced, and a slight grassy finish. This wine pairs well with light pastas, seafood and poultry.


2015 Stevenot Chardonnay

A Chardonnay that Stevenot has become so well known for.  Flavors of pear and peach are elevated through the process of cool-fermentation.  Light and bright fruit flavors dance across your palate and linger on the finish.  A wonderful wine meant to enjoy young.

2013 Metzger Barbera

This Barbera hearkens back to “Macaroni Flat” and the Italian heritage of the Sierra foothills. “I love this bouquet,” Michael says. “Tons of fruit, peppery, and rich.” A lingering fruity finish. Produced by renowned Calaveras winemaker Chuck Hovey using Metzger fruit. Fantastic with a steak. There is a reason MWC hand picked this bottle as our first Barbera offering.

2014 Calavera Albarino

Joe’s go-to white wine for summer. Smooth, with loads of fruit up front. Peach and pears on the nose. A unique, dry tannic finish for a white wine. An uncommon Spanish wine grape from the historic Dragone vineyard here in Calaveras County. Pairs well with a variety of foods. You’ll be sorry if you order only one! Serve chilled.

2014 Four Winds Chardonnay

A crisp, clean, and balanced chardonnay. Bright and fruity with notes of mango and melon. Light oak and plenty of body. A truly refreshing summer wine.

2012 Boyle MacDonald Cock Au Vin

This blend shows a wonderful balance of bright acidity, forward fruit, and firm tannins. Black cherry and tobacco notes round to an easy finish. Pair with hearty stews, grilled poultry, and soft cheeses. Drink now through 2020.

2014 Irish Family Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon

Yes, you’re reading correctly, a locally-grown late harvest Cabernet Sauvignon.  This is not your ordinary late-harvest.  It’s lower sugar content makes for an easy drinking after dinner wine.  The robust flavors of blackberries and hints of spice are welcome on the palate.  A well-balanced dessert wine that finishes with the perfect touch of sweet.

2014 Twisted Oak Tempranillo

A great representation of a Calaveras Tempranillo. Cherry with a trace of tobacco on the nose. Full bodied and structured, with medium tannins. Recently bottled, so best to let sit until mid-summer. Initial tasting shows tremendous potential for this vintage. One bottle might not be enough. Pairs great with Mexican.

2015 Renner Sauvignon Blanc

Crisp and well-balanced. Flavors of bright citrus and hints of pear delight the palate. A wonderful wine to sip while relaxing on the porch, or with your favorite Thai dish.

2008 Broll Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

A sophisticated silky cabernet not typically found outside of Napa.  Upon tasting notice the French Oak, green pepper and full rich tannins.  Made from meticulously farmed estate grown grapes.  Enjoy with a grass fed filet, or, even better, with artesian dark chocolate.  Winner of a Silver Medal at the 2015 California State Fair.

2010 Renner Malbec

This lovely big 2010 Malbec has been our best seller.  With its spicy sweetness, complex layers of flavors and earthy overtones, this wine fills the mouth, has a beautiful jammy front and a lovely lingering finish on the palate.

2012 Locke Vineyards Sequoia

This is a blend of 75% Zinfandel and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. The warm aromas of spiced berries and earthy pepper greet the nose, following on the palate with rich flavors of vanilla and cherry and the perfect touch of spice. The long, lingering finish will leave you begging for more. An excellent pairing for big, rich meaty dishes.

2015 Newsome Harlow Drama Queen

This blend of 56% Chenin Blanc, 22% Viognier and 22% Verdelho greets your nose with aromas of apple, stone-fruits and a touch of floral.  Spicy flavors up front on the palate, with apricot and peach characteristics following. The bright acidity balances well with the medium-bodied mouthfeel.  This wine finishes clean and crisp.

2014 Hovey Cinsaut

This French varietal is typically used as a blending grape, but a couple of years ago Chuck Hovey found its unique set of flavors to be so impressive while in the barrel that he decided to produce it as a single varietal.  A wonderful nose of rose petals with a slight leathery dimension paves the way for flavors of ripe strawberry with light toasty oak and vanilla flavors that carry through to the finish.

2013 Irish Family Vineyards Malbec

Expect deep, rich color and bold tannins in this intense, award-winning Malbec. One of the most decorated Calaveras wines in recent years, including Gold and “Best of Region” at the 2013 California State Fair wine competition.

2014 Newsome Harlow The Deviant

A blend of 43% Carignanne, 22% Zinfandel, 21% Petite Sirah and 14% Alicante offers raspberry and dark plum aromatics, with a touch of blueberry and spice undertones.  Flavors of fresh plum and spicy oak with some hints of cedar-like notes.  This wine has a wonderful full-bodied mouthfeel with a dark fruit finish.

2013 Stevenot Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

This cab is rich in color with a classic cab bouquet. A veritable berry explosion on the front, with a hint of pepper and a dryish finish. Enjoy with a meal. Pairs well with barbecue or steak.

2012 Boyle MacDonald Zinfandel

Excellent fruit-forward nose with a touch of spice and an abundance of dark berry notes.  On the palate, this Zinfandel offers a soft mouthfeel, balanced flavors of wild berry, clove, cinnamon and vanilla.  It has a lengthy finish with spice notes.  A wine to enjoy now through the end of 2020.

Stevenot Red Dance

An incredibly easy drinking blend of 50% Zinfandel, 35% Sangiovese, 10% Cinsaut and 5% Petite Sirah that has aromas of plum and cinnamon, leading into flavors of black cherry and soft toasted oak.  This is the perfect wine to pair with a variety of dishes or to simply sip while relaxing and enjoying life.

2012 Bunting Cuvee Rouge

2012 Cuvee’ Rouge 44% Grenache, 44% Mourvedre’ and 12% Syrah. Our first blend brings together a unique balance of earthy minerality and luscious berry flavors. Excellent with tri-tip, flank steak and hearty pasta dishes with heavy sauces.

2013 School Street Dolcetto

Aromas of raspberry, strawerry and cherry lead way to hints of tobacco and cedar with a bright acidity.  Flavors of raspberry and plum jam and strawberry with full-bodied, complex tannins which will ensure this wine will age nicely.
